In Norse Mythology the World Tree, Yggdrasil, is the center of the nine worlds

I am adventuring in a far away land, and my heart is no longer here nor there, materially in one place, spiritually in another - It now finds its home in cyberspace, inextricably bound to the World Tree, whereby it may remain connected to every world in which I have ever lived. Let our minds leave our private worlds, let our thoughts, ideas and experiences course freely through the roots and branches of Yggdrasil where they may be shared and united.

"An Ash I know, Yggdrasil its name,With water white
is the great tree wet; Thence come the dews
that fall in the dales, Green by Urth's well does it ever grow.
Thence come the maidens
mighty in wisdom, Three from the dwelling
down 'neath the tree; Urth is one named,
Verthandi the next,--On the wood they scored,--
and Skuld the third. Laws they made there, and life allotted
To the sons of men, and set their fates."

Caving For A Good Cause

I've been a blog-naysayer from the very beginning. The amount of time wasted on these infernal things is just shameful. But if ever there was a time and a reason for me to enter the realm of blogging, it is now. Now that I am far removed, thousands of miles away from those I cherish and hold dear, the ones who make me laugh and cry and the ones who make soda come out of my nose, or make me piss my pants. I am adventuring in a far away land, and my heart is no longer here nor there, materially in one place, spiritually in another - It now finds its home in cyberspace, inextricably bound to the World Tree, whereby it may remain connected to every world in which I have ever lived. Opportunity is now limitless. Thoughts flow freely, experiences are shared. Let our minds leave our private worlds, let our thoughts, ideas and experiences course freely through the roots and branches of Yggdrasil where they may be shared and united.

This blog is for my sisters and for those friends who are to me as brothers and sisters, that we may once again share our lives, and be forever entwined. Despite what the relentless laws of time and space may say, I say let us defy them and remain together!

Hey, if you can't beat 'em , join 'em.

Pssshh. Geoff, you hardly exist because you don't allow people to access your profile and consequently can't be traced back to something brilliant. And I think that's a damn shame.

Not to be rude, or anything. I was just disappointed is all.

Ok, Anna, you really need to come off the weed, hun. Yggdrasil? And I thought Yoga was wierd.
Anyhoo, yes I say, come into the open. Enter cyberspace not as a cybernaught but as a star. Fear not to post where no one will read and become part of that land where the number of authors by far exceeds than the number of people who read. (Eugene is beginning to effect me) In other words. Welcome to the club. You better post regularly. I can't deal with you being in Virginia you know.

Eugene? Are you seeing somebody i don't know about?!

Well all I have to say on the matter is that at least it's a blog and not a myspace...now THOSE are overrated. so basically you stooped pretty low when you joined the rest of us, BUT you haven't stooped as low as some! heh heh heh...

I KNOW.

Yeah, Eugene is Herbert's brother.
Eugene is the closest city(Elmira isn't even really a town). It's where all the hippies went after 1980. Pot is legal over here. All the haze you see on coming in isn't smog.
Oh, and btw, Katie, I wouldn't hold out too much hope for Anna, I just got a message from someone who joined a myspace type thing(Bebo) and the picture associated with it looked frightenningly like Anna.;)

Thankyou.

That photo is indeed my most fetching and true likeness. I am glad you agree.
