Went out Friday night with Irene and Mary Catherine (co-workers at Rennaisance Montessori) to see the new Gerard Butler/Hilary Swank movie
P.S. I Love You. I really enjoyed it -both Butler and Swank have awesome versatility as actors, and they had good chemisrty together, which was surprising cuz i never woulda seen that. The movie is funny, sweet, sad , endearing and original. My only real complaint was that there was one too many weird kissing scenes, like the characters were bent on kissing anyone and everyone to find out if they were the 'right one', especially Hilary Swanks BFF, played by Lisa Kudrow, but then again she was supposed to be extreme and ditzy for comic relief, so, what can ya' do? Anyway, overall, i'd say it's worth the $, i liked it, but it's definitely chick flick material.
Anyways, afterwards we met up with some girls from the local Catholic YA group, and hit O'Meara's for a pint, in the spirit of the movie. It was really nice to just hang out, chat and get to know some cool new people.
