In Norse Mythology the World Tree, Yggdrasil, is the center of the nine worlds

I am adventuring in a far away land, and my heart is no longer here nor there, materially in one place, spiritually in another - It now finds its home in cyberspace, inextricably bound to the World Tree, whereby it may remain connected to every world in which I have ever lived. Let our minds leave our private worlds, let our thoughts, ideas and experiences course freely through the roots and branches of Yggdrasil where they may be shared and united.

"An Ash I know, Yggdrasil its name,With water white
is the great tree wet; Thence come the dews
that fall in the dales, Green by Urth's well does it ever grow.
Thence come the maidens
mighty in wisdom, Three from the dwelling
down 'neath the tree; Urth is one named,
Verthandi the next,--On the wood they scored,--
and Skuld the third. Laws they made there, and life allotted
To the sons of men, and set their fates."

TGIF!

I SO need to go out, have a good laugh and a good strong drink!!

Only problem is, all my friends are in Cali . . . (or Wisconsin) ; D

It was a ridiculously tough week - i worked about 65 hrs this week, holy shit-zu!
Children irk me, esp 10 yr old boys that are impossible to read because they are somehow so corrupt this early on in life that they are able to show no physical signs of nervousness when they lie - lie to me to my face and i can't tell (i try SO effing hard at this job!), and then they go and brag to their friends that they got away with it! Thankfully their friends are backstabbing tattle-tales...
...little bastards...

i hate Mexican food, i hate people that eat Mexican food, i hate managers that are fat because they eat too much Mexican food.

But now its 3:00 on Friday, no work at Don Pablo's tonight, so i can finally breathe!

And i am off to go sign my lease, yay

Here's a good trick that works about 80% of the time. When you are questioning a young boy about something that may look bad for him assume he is lying to you.

Self preservation is innate, not truth telling.

Coming up next '10 minute turkey', Bailey has all the answers to your questions after the break.

haha -

y'know it really was my gut instinct that he was lying, but i figured if there was any question, i'd rather let a lyer get away with it than punish an innocent kid and make him jaded about authority.

good advice, though. I just take these things too seriously, i think, and stress about doing the right thing...

hey, speaking of Bailey, do you have her email?

will you let me say "effing?", O Great Comment Moderator?

Did somebody just really correct your written language???!!!

I'm strongly tempted to line the rest of my comment box with swears in protest?!

When you need to Anna express yourself however you fucking feel.
They add texture and color to language...like a 7th or a suspended 4 chord. To little and you have no flair, too much and it all sounds like ass.

You DO know what that word means don't you? Taking that into consideration I would think that you would be aware of the graveness of using such a word intentionally. Even "effing" is just as bad because you are basically using the "worlds" censored verion of the word.

Must we express our anger and frustration with such unbeautiful language?

I would say yes, but only if the anger and frustration we are trying to represent is itself 'unbeautiful', then the language would be accurate.

More important than the word choice, to me at least, is the feeling or message behind the word choice; the statement. Sometimes by focusing on the semantics of the delivery you miss the message which is the point of the whole mess entirely.

To each their own I suppose. Don't swear if you don't wish...I'll use your foul language credits ;)

Hey Geoff, you aren't Catholic by any chance? As a Catholic myself I can't agree with your "To each their own" statement. Just because some people think it's okay to use those words doesn't make it right. (no matter how unbeautiful the anger may be)

Never said right or wrong, just said understandable and quite human I guess.

Don't worry, I'm tolerant of your lack of cussing :P lol.
